I was at a wedding and after an hour in my heels while they took pictures
of us on grasy gravel & rough stone paths.....I put on my Big Star slippers.
After the meal my feet had recovered well. The swelling had gone down and I
was able to join in the dancing for the next 4 hours.
Today I was at the Markham Stouffville Diabetic Clinic and I showed my
slippers to them and recommended them....
I am taking a cruise in September and I intend to take them with me. They
are nice enough to wear for dinner if I have to.

I wore a pair of Big Star slippers for my wedding reception and dance, and let me tell you - my feet were so grateful for the comfort of these slippers after being stuck in heels all day! The slippers had delicate detailing that gave them a fancier look, but moved so comfortably with my feet that I was able to dance all night! I even ended up wearing them for a large part of the honeymoon! Thank you, Big Star, for adding to my comfort and enjoyment on my wedding day!

I wanted to take the opportunity to follow-up on the specialized slippers purchased from your company. Lakeland conducted a trial of the slippers and the results were quite impressive. Not only did the residents find the slippers comfortable; the staff discovered the safety features of the design enhanced resident mobility by decreasing their fear of falling.
In one case it was necessary to purchase additional pairs for one resident who refused to remove them so they could be laundered. He found them extremely comfortable while lying in bed or sitting in the chair, he refused to take them off unless there was another pair to replace them.

My wife and I enjoyed the slippers through our holiday in Florida. Very Comfortable and easy to travel with.

One of the primary safety issues within a nursing home occurs when residents walk in stocking feet. The risk of falls is quite high and the responsiblity of each nursing home is to minimize such risks.
I am happy to report that the residents found the Safety Slippers quite comfortable and the design minimized the risk of falls. More importantly, the design encouraged the residents to keep the slippers on while lying in bed

Until recently I have been
wearing slip on slippers with treads. They are easy to take on and off but they tend to grip the surface and your body continues its forward momentum, often with unpleasant results. This happened to me twice recently causing an unpleasant fall and the second time some sore ribs.
A friend offered a solution - try these slippers which have fabric tops and very light soles. They resemble dancing shoes so my initial reaction was uh-uh! I was wrong - they fit like a glove, are comfortable and they are the next best thing to bare feet. They are wore always in the house and are showing no signs of wear (appeals to my Scottish blood). Since they are light and easily packed.
Congratulations on a very good product. You have probably saved my life. Many thanks.

I just wanted you to know how much I have enjoyed the slippers that were given to me. I had very bad balance problems last year due to wrong medication and was bouncing off the walls. My slippers were very dangerous as they would slip or else I would keep going when they had stopped. I tried the new ones and it was just like walking in bare feet and I felt secure and able to negotiate so much better. I was wondering if it would not be a good idea to offer these to nursing homes and senior centres because I'm sure I am not the only one having balance problems.

I like them because they are comfortable. They can serve for sock purposes in keeping your feet warm and the added cushion is a great BONUS! The personalized name is a nice touch and very personal which I like very much.
They can be taken anywhere. They are so practical! I wore them on the plane ride back from Toronto to London! I hate keeping my shoes on in the plane and this saves me having to put my shoes on every time I need to go to the bathroom.

I have always been a bare foot person until I bought my first pair of Alby slippers. Our office has lovely wooden floors so we opted to wear indoor footwear only. The washable Alby design is so lightweight and comfortable that it is the next best thing to being barefoot while providing warmth and non-slip security along with an acceptable standard of hygiene. I always wear them at home and tuck them easily into my pocket or purse when I go out. Since I discovered their "barely there" comfort, I wouldn't be without them.

I find the slippers to be very comfortable and versatile! Not only can I wear them around the house, they are great to dance in at rehearsal and on field as well. They are very convenient for travel purposes as they fold easily into my bag. I love how Big Star can custom design the slippers to be personalized- it makes them that much more fun to wear!

I think they're so comfortable and super lightweight, they fit like gloves! Not only are they comfortable, but they have great grip too and are so easy to dance in.

I want to thank you very much for my slippers. They are so much more than slippers. I belong to Curves and prefer not to wear shoes around the exercise circuit. I normally exercise with only my socks on. My Big Star slippers are perfect for me. Not only do I have the comfort of no shoes, but the leather soles give me the traction I need without the worry of slipping off the cardio stations. They are very easy to tote along with my exercise clothes as the shoes are compact and light weight.
I work in a bank and am on my feet constantly. By the time Friday afternoon rolls around my feet are very tired. I work behind the counter so I can easily slip them on and my clients don't know the difference but my feet sure do. I will probably be purchasing a second pair for home. They will be easily packed when travelling.

I have been using the Alby slipper at Curves and I love them, they are light and keep your feet cool. Ii feels like you’re in barefeet but your not. I’m sure they would be good for other physical activities like yoga, etc.
